For more than 15 years, we’ve been hosting, managing, and investing in short-term rentals ourselves. We combine hands-on local management with thoughtful pricing, marketing, guest care, and property strategy to help owners build stronger, more sustainable short-term rentals in Tucson.
Meet Bree & Claude
We’ve been hosting short-term rentals in Tucson for more than 15 years — first with our own properties, and eventually for owners who wanted the same level of care, strategy, and attention brought to their investments.
Bree brings a background in marketing, brand strategy, design, and revenue management, with a focus on how each property is positioned, presented, and priced. Claude brings more than 20 years of experience in property restoration, operations, and team leadership, along with deep Tucson roots and a trusted network of local vendors.
Together, we combine thoughtful strategy with hands-on execution. Because we own and operate short-term rental investments ourselves, we approach every property from an owner’s perspective — not just a property manager’s.
We’re Owners, Too
STRT grew out of our own experience investing in and operating short-term rentals. Managing our own properties taught us to look beyond occupancy and individual bookings and think about the entire investment — positioning, revenue, operating costs, guest experience, property condition, and long-term potential.
That same perspective shapes how we manage for our owners. We’re not interested in filling calendars at any cost or applying the same playbook to every home. We look at each property individually, make thoughtful decisions, and communicate candidly about what we believe will make it stronger.
Our work doesn’t stop with STRT. Through The Hyperion Investment Group, we invest in short-term rentals ourselves — giving us a place to test ideas, learn from our own wins and mistakes, and continually sharpen how we think about property performance. What we learn as investors makes us better managers, and what we learn managing a diverse portfolio makes us better investors.
Over time, that experience has also led us to work with owners and aspiring investors beyond day-to-day property management. Through The Hyperion Investment Group, we provide strategic guidance on STR management and operations, investment decisions, and acquiring new short-term rental properties — drawing on the same hands-on experience we use to operate our own investments and manage properties for STRT owners.

Hospitality has been part of our families for generations. With innkeepers and B&B hosts in our family histories, we grew up understanding that great hospitality is about more than providing a place to stay — it’s about making people feel genuinely cared for.
That philosophy still shapes how we run STRT today. We pair modern vacation rental strategy and technology with something decidedly old-fashioned: personal attention, thoughtful service, and relationships built on trust.
